OEM Period Underwear Development from Your Brief
Develop period underwear from your tech pack or brief.
What an OEM period underwear brief should define
OEM is the route for a brand that controls the pattern, fit or construction. The useful starting point is not a generic catalogue reference, but a brief that explains what must be different about the product and what the factory must deliver.
- Target market, customer and wear scenario
- Tech pack, sketch or reference garment
- Size range and measurement points
- Fabric, gusset layers and barrier direction
- Colour, print, labels and packaging
- Target quantity and required documents
From your brief to production
- Feasibility review: we check whether the construction can be sampled as specified and identify missing inputs.
- Pattern and specification: the pattern, gusset, measurement sheet and bill of materials are developed into a working specification.
- Development sample: the first physical sample is reviewed for fit, appearance, gusset placement and construction.
- Validation: the intended claim and test plan are agreed for the selected construction.
- PP approval: final materials, labels, measurements and packing are checked before bulk.
- Production: the approved specification becomes the production and inspection reference.
Design files, ownership and confidentiality
Record who owns the original pattern, artwork and technical files, who may reuse them after the project and how changes are approved. We can review an NDA before sensitive drawings, measurement sheets or reference garments are shared. The commercial contract should define ownership and exclusivity; a website page cannot replace it.
What to send first
A reference garment, sketch, tech pack or even a clear description of the intended product is enough to start. The first review should identify the development route, missing information and the questions that need an answer before a reliable sample quotation.
OEM period underwear questions
Can you work from a tech pack we already have?
Yes. We review the pack for missing measurements, gusset construction, materials, label information and test targets before quoting sampling.
Can you sign an NDA before we share a design?
Yes. We can put confidentiality in place before receiving sensitive files or a reference garment.
What if we only have a sketch?
A sketch can start the feasibility review, but pattern development and sampling will need clearer measurements, materials and construction decisions.
Have a style in mind?
Send a sketch, tech pack or reference garment. We will reply with a development route.
