What to Include in a Period Underwear RFQ
Prepare a manufacturing RFQ with market, quantity, style, materials, absorbency, packaging and timing requirements.
What a useful RFQ includes
An RFQ gives every supplier the same assumptions to quote. Without that, two prices may look comparable while describing different fabrics, gussets, sizes, colours and packaging.

What can be marked TBC
Not every field must be final before the first conversation. Market, style, target quantity and intended use are enough to start. Fabric, colour and packaging can be developed during sampling, but the quotation should state which assumptions remain open.
What to attach
A sketch, reference garment, tech pack, size chart, logo file or packaging reference helps the supplier give a more specific response. Share sensitive files only after confidentiality terms are agreed.
RFQ questions
Can we send an RFQ before we have a tech pack?
Yes. A reference, sketch and clear product brief can start the review. A tech pack can be developed later.
Should the RFQ ask for a unit price only?
No. Ask for sample cost, MOQ assumptions, packaging, testing, freight terms and quotation validity so the total route is visible.
How many suppliers should receive the same RFQ?
Use enough suppliers to compare capability and evidence without turning the process into an unmanageable sample programme.
