Period Swimwear Manufacturing for OEM & ODM Brands — Ljvogues manufacturing
Made in Shenzhen · working worldwide

Ljvogues develops made-to-order period swimwear for brands that need a controlled route from reference garment to approved sample. The work starts with the swim silhouette, lining, gusset footprint, stretch behaviour and care route. Testing, claims and packaging are then defined around the actual sample and destination market instead of being copied from a period-panty report.

What a period swimwear brief needs to define

A useful swimwear brief separates four decisions that are often mixed together: the outer silhouette, the lining system, the absorbent gusset and the leak-barrier placement. It should also state whether the product is for pool, sea, holiday or everyday swim use, because water exposure, drying and care instructions change the development plan.

  • Silhouette: one-piece, bodysuit, swim short, high-waist short or seamless boyshort.
  • Fit: rise, seat coverage, waistband tension, leg opening and size range.
  • Swim construction: outer shell, lining, gusset placement, seam or bonding route and barrier layer.
  • Commercial route: OEM from your tech pack, ODM from a development reference or private label over an approved base.

Period swimwear development references

These four references show the type of silhouette and construction questions the factory can review. They are development references, not ready-stock products or finished-product certifications.

Why swim testing is different

Swimwear adds variables that a standard period-panty test does not capture. The outer fabric may take up water, the lining can stretch differently when wet, and a gusset that sits correctly on a dry sample may shift after immersion or repeated wear. Colourfastness, drying behaviour and care labelling also need to be reviewed with the chosen materials.

The appropriate test plan should identify the sample version, size, colour, BOM, test fluid, conditioning, water exposure, load or pressure, repeat cycles and acceptance rule. A result without those fields cannot be transferred confidently to another swim style.

What Ljvogues can review before quoting

  • Whether the silhouette can be sampled with the proposed gusset and lining.
  • Which measurements, materials, colours and test targets are still missing.
  • Which swim gusset, seam or barrier options need a fit and wash review.
  • Whether the packaging and label route is feasible for the target channel.
  • Which claims must wait for a report on the exact sample and BOM.

Quote inputs for a period swimwear programme

A quote can be prepared only when the brief identifies the reference style, target market, size range, colour split, estimated quantity, packaging format, required tests and expected sample date. MOQ and lead time are confirmed against that package; they are not fixed catalogue numbers.

Decision What to record Evidence to attach
Swim silhouette and fit Reference style, measurements and target size range Tech pack, sketch, reference garment and fit comments
Lining and gusset Layer order, coverage, barrier position and material direction BOM, construction sketch and approved swatches
Test plan Fluid, water exposure, cycles, units and acceptance rule Test brief or laboratory proposal for the named sample
Packaging and claims Label language, care route, artwork version and claim boundary BAT, care-label draft and evidence review note

Continue the technical file

Before a quotation is finalised, review the period swimwear construction and water-exposure test brief. If the range will use your own brand and packaging, continue to the private-label period swimwear route.

Buyer questions

Can you work from our existing period swimwear tech pack?

Yes. The first review checks the measurements, gusset construction, lining, materials, colourways, packaging and intended claims. Missing information is listed before a sample quotation is prepared.

Can you make a period swimsuit with our label and packaging?

Yes, subject to an approved base product, label and packaging review. The final artwork, care text and claim wording must match the actual sample and target market.

Do you sell ready-stock period swimwear?

The manufacturing route is made to order. Availability, MOQ, sampling and lead time are confirmed project by project and are not presented as fixed catalogue stock.

Can you test a product in chlorinated and salt water?

The test plan can include relevant water-exposure conditions, but the final scope must be agreed with the laboratory and matched to the destination market and claim. This page does not state that every material has already passed those tests.

Can we start with one style and add colours later?

Yes, provided the base fit, construction and material references are controlled. A later colour, lining or supplier change may require a new sample and evidence review.
